Nigerian rapper Falz has revealed he hasn’t been in a romantic relationship since 2008, when he was just 18 years old.
In an interview on the Morning Rush show, Falz explained his reasons for staying single, citing a focus on personal growth and a shift in his priorities.
“It’s not like I’m running away,” Falz said. “There have just been a lot of things going on for different reasons. It keeps changing, and I just haven’t felt ready.”
Now 33, Falz stresses that he’s looking for a deeper connection than physical attraction. “The aura, energy, and swag” are the qualities that draw him to a woman these days, he revealed.
“I’m in a different realm now,” Falz explained. “It’s not about light skin or big breasts anymore. It’s about the kind of energy you ooze.”
This isn’t the first time Falz has opened up about his love life. In 2022, he admitted he’d never been in love and had never uttered the words “I love you” to a woman.
