Popular Nigerian singer, Skales has opened up about his past collaborations with fellow artist, Wizkid during their tenure as signees under EME (Empire Mates Entertainment).

Speaking during an interview with Isbae U on Curiosity Made Me Ask today, Friday, February 16, 2024, Skales reminisced about their collaborative efforts and mutual support during their formative years in the music industry.

Skales revealed that he and Wizkid would often collaborate on songwriting, assisting each other in crafting lyrics and melodies. The singer highlighted their symbiotic relationship, emphasizing how they would look out for each other’s artistic growth.

In a particularly revealing moment, Skales disclosed that he had contributed to Wizkid’s hit song Wiz Party, showcasing their collaborative spirit. Conversely, Wizkid reciprocated by penning the track Mukulu for Skales, illustrating the depth of their creative partnership.

The revelation offers fans a rare glimpse into the behind-the-scenes dynamics of their early careers and showcases the unity shared between the two artists.

Skales’ acknowledgment of their collaborative efforts sheds light on the supportive environment fostered within the EME label and highlights the enduring friendship between himself and Wizkid despite their individual paths in the music industry.
