Chinonso Emmanuel Odigbo by his stage name NonyKingz is a Nigerian Iceland based music artist who has been putting African music on the map in Iceland and around Scandinavian countries aka Iceland’s Afrobeats King.
NonyKingz, who is a singer, composer and a songwriter, made another achievement after he was mentioned along other international artists around the globe to perform at one of the biggest Iceland music festivals called ICELAND AIRWAVES.
This music festival took place every year in Iceland Reykjavík where hundreds of music artists around the world take part in the show and hundreds of thousands of people from different countries come to witness this big amazing music festival and this year festival which was a 3 days festival took place on 7th, 8th & 9th of November 2024
NonyKingz happens to be part of the line ups of these prominent musicians, making him the first Afrobeat music artist to ever to be part is this international music festival.
On 8th of November 2024 was the day NonyKingz took the stage and showcased an unforgettable and iconic performance & has proven why is the Iceland Afrobeats King by taking hundreds of people in attendance to their utmost climax of entertainment.
His performance is now one of the most talked about performances in this festival and has brought so much joy to Africans and Afrobeats music lovers across Europe.
At the same time, NonyKingz blessed his fans with an amazing body of work titled “MAN OF SOUNDZ“ an EP, which was released on 14th November 2024. “Man of Soundz” contains 6 incredible tracks, which again, showcased why he is a multitalented musician by Compiling different songs of different genres into one body . The EP comprises of songs namely – AFæli (Birthday), For a lifetime, Get Down, My woman, Big Flex and Catching Cold.
