Veteran music producer, Olumide Ogunnade, professionally known as ID Cabasa, has thrilled music lovers with an exciting announcement.
During his recent appearance on Media Personality, Adesope’s Afrobeat podcast on Thursday, May 16, 2024, the renowned producer revealed his plan to remix the iconic mid-2000s love song Olufunmi by Styl-Plus, featuring a lineup of four acclaimed artists.
ID Cabasa disclosed that the remix will include contributions from Odumodublvck, Fireboy DML, Joeboy, and BOJ. He assured fans that the voices of the original group, Styl-Plus, will also be heard in the project, maintaining the essence of the beloved track.
The producer, who recently made headlines for his comments on Burna Boy, shared that this remix is part of his effort to bring a modern twist to classic Nigerian hits. He also announced that the much-anticipated remix is slated for release in the third quarter of 2024.
