Popular rapper, Tobechukwu Ejiofor, known as Illbliss, has criticized the Super Eagles, likening their performance to the state of the Nigerian government.
Following the team’s disappointing 2-1 defeat in the 2026 World Cup qualifying series on Monday, June 10, 2024, Illbliss expressed his views on social media.
On his X handle, the Aye Po Gan hitmaker wrote, “The Super Eagles is a reflection of the government. Lethargic. Inconsistent. Confused…” He noted that the team’s performance mirrored the perceived lethargy, inconsistency, and confusion of the country’s government.
