In a recent interview, Davido revealed plans for a massive stadium tour across Africa, dubbed the “5IVE African Tour,” featuring 10 stadium shows in 10 cities, and this might just be a historical moment for the singer.
The announcement has already sent waves of excitement through social media, especially after Davido shared a tweet quoting the interview with the electrifying caption, “CANT WAIT TO BRING THE TOUR HOME !!”
The “5IVE African Tour” follows the massive success of Davido’s 2023 Timeless world tour, which saw sold-out shows in North America, Europe, and select cities in Africa. This time, the focus shifts entirely to the continent that shaped his sound, with Davido set to perform for tens of thousands of fans in major stadiums across key African cities.
Although the singer already confirmed venues for the tour outside Africa, fans can not rule out the possibility of the Africa stop happening in 2025 as well. From all indications, Davido is set to be the first Nigerian artist to hold a stadium tour in Africa for Africans in 10 different cities.
