
J-Hope of BTS has followed his military discharge with a new record for all Korean solo artists with the North American leg of his Hope On The Stage tour.
J-Hope a member of the biggest group in the music industry today, BTS, has set a new record for all Korean solo artists with the North American leg of his Hope On The Stage Tour.
Hobi or Jay as he is fondly called by the fans of the group, (ARMY) became the first and only Korean solo artist to headline and also sell out a stadium venue for multiple days whilst on tour. In an official confirmation, Live Nation as well as BMO Stadium LA confirmed that J-Hope sold out his 2-day concert which was the final stop of his North American tour.
It was revealed that J-Hope oversold the estimated number of tickets for BMO Stadium, as the organisers were forced to make more seats available due to popular demand. The estimated number of tickets sold per day for J-Hope’s BMO Stadium concert was revealed to be around 24,000, surpassing the estimated 22,000 tickets the venue accommodates.
This was however not the only venue that was sold out for J-Hope’s North America Hope On The Stage tour as Live Nation revealed that all 12 dates which were across 6 different venues were sold out for the concert.
Hope On The Stage tour which kicked off in Seoul, South Korea is expected to continue with more Asian stops today, Saturday, April 12, 2025, in the Philipines with Japan, Singapore, Thailand and many more on the rapper’s radar as fans get ready for the reunion of the group in June 2025.
