Manchester United’s loan player to Chelsea, Jadon Sancho has reacted to his team’s defeat against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford on Sunday, September 29, 2024.
Chelsea posted a picture of Cole Palmer and Jadon Sancho immediately after Manchester United were defeated by Spurs. The England international reposted the picture on his official X account, this has seen a lot of fans react to his decision, with some seeing it as a way of teasing the Red Devils.
Jadon Sancho joined on loan to Chelsea on the final day of the 2024 summer transfer. The deal also includes an obligation for the Blues to him at the end of the 2024/25 season for £25 million.
On the other hand, Manchester United’s game plan against Spurs went out of the window after they conceded an early goal in the opening three minutes of the game from Benjamin Johnson.
Bruno Fernandes’ red card for a reckless challenge on James Maddison made the situation worse as they were down to 10 men. Dejan Kulusevski doubled the lead shortly after halftime before Dominic Solanke rounded the game.
The Red Devils are currently placed in 12th position after the first six games of the season, winning two games, one draw and having three defeats which is their worst start in history of the league.
