After weeks of dangling the promise of a Twe Twe remix, Davido and Kizz Daniel finally release the single and fans have been reacting.

The original Twe Twe which was released December 11, 2023 was garbed in Talking drums and Yoruba folklore rhythms. It was so good that it made everyone dance, regardless of age. It became more popular after a TikTok dance challenge and currently has over 6 million streams on Spotify.

It was only right that Kizz Daniel and Davido hoped on a remix that was released 26, 2024. Since it’s release there has been comments from 30 BG fans and Wizkid FC on the song’s rhythm especially with Davido hopping on the song.

Johnny Drille minutes after the release was so quick to comment the song saying that the remix is “infectious” and “well written”. A lot of fans were commenting on Davido’s choice of words when he sang “fit to make a man go keke na pep pep”

Here are some of their reactions;

See as you chop am like Oha, you don almost collect Kizz Daniel song😂😂

If you follow Twitter comments you’ll think Davido’s ‘twe twe’ verse is horrific….. na wa. Art is subjective sha.

When they no like artist, they go begin ask for lyrics.

Especially in the most pedestrian songs created to catch and contextualise a vibe.

I really enjoyed Davido’s improvements on Twe Twe. I didn’t care much for the original.

But this remix? I eternally plaster.
