Joseph Linley, brother to one Will Linley, has come out the gate swinging with his debut indie-pop single “I’m With You”. One look at the cast of supporting actors (Greg Abrahams, producer and Mike Zietsman, mastering) who played a part in shaping this single and it’s clear this guy means business
“The concept for ‘I’m with you’ came to me a few years ago when I saw people I cared about who were hurting,” 26-year-old singer-songwriter Joseph explains. “I wanted them to know that, even though I couldn’t fix things, I was standing with them.” It’s this emotionally maturity, coupled with his intentional songwriting, that stands him in good stead.
“I had finished the chorus and the bridge and brought the first draft of the verses to Will because I knew he could help me bring them to life,” Joseph told us. “His melody writing is next level, and he helped me polish the verses while keeping the heart of what I’d written. It was such a fun and rewarding process!”
It would’ve been a missed opportunity not to collaborate with his brother on his debut single, and with this super strong debut song he sets a precedent as the track crescendos to create an uplifting sing-along offering.
They need to bottle and sell whatever they’re feeding those kids in the Linley household.
