The choir travelled to Lagos for a performance at Club Quilox, and the very next day, they went into the studio to lay down the track before heading to Abuja to start rehearsals for their upcoming tour. Recording the song in Lagos, a city known for its fast pace and high energy, made perfect sense, as the team channelled their feelings of stress and the need for escape into the music.
