Nigerian singer and Limpopo crooner KCee has shed new light on his personal life, confirming past rumors about his relationship with Nollywood actress Ebube Nwagbo and offering rare details about his family background.
In a recent appearance on the Tea With Tay podcast, KCee confirmed that he and Ebube Nwagbo were once in a serious relationship, one that nearly led to marriage. “Our relationship was everywhere,” he recalled. “We were always on the front covers of newspapers, always seated in the front row of every red carpet show. We were close to getting married. Whatever happened, happened.”
KCee, who has been married to Ijeoma Okonkwo since 2010, also reflected on his life before social media took over the entertainment space. “My scandals were before social media became rampant. I was just a young boy dating one actress. I loved actresses back then—who wouldn’t?” he said with a chuckle.
Beyond his romantic past, the singer gave fans a glimpse into his family life. Responding to a question about his brother and business mogul E-Money, KCee revealed that the flamboyant entrepreneur is actually the last-born in a family of seven siblings.
“We are four girls and three boys,” he shared. “Our first son is a pastor in Abuja who avoids social media. My sisters are all happily married—one of them lives in Italy, one in Canada, one is here doing well. It’s just that E-Money and I are very close, so people think it’s just the two of us.”
Lastly, KCee’s candid revelations have sparked a wave of nostalgia and admiration online, as fans appreciate the rare insight into his life beyond music.
