Kylian Mbappe was in Stockholm during the international break last week, while authorities are now looking into a suspected rape that reportedly occurred on October 10, 2024, at the same hotel where the French star player and his entourage stayed during their visit.

Mbappe’s legal representative, Maitre Marie-Alix Canu-Bernard, strongly denied the accusations. She stated that neither she nor Mbappe had received any communication from Swedish police regarding the matter and questioned the validity of the complaint.
She argued that a complaint alone does not prove guilt and emphasized that Mbappe is always accompanied by his entourage, making it impossible for him to find himself in compromising situations. She reaffirmed that there is no possibility of Mbappe having committed any wrongful acts, expressing complete certainty in his innocence.
Additionally, she noted that Mbappe is calm but shocked by the media attention surrounding the issue.
