Late Mr Ibu’s wife has celebrated his first posthumous birthday and it has attracted fans who are reacting in memories.
She took to her social media platforms and expressed her love for the deceased, outlining that she misses him, while praying for his soul.
She recalled all the momeries attatched to their love life before his death and bidded yet another farewell to him.
Her words:
“Today is my late husband’s birthday (Mr IBU) This will mark the first birthday without him celebrating with us here.I can’t forget how he used to cherished and celebrate his birthdays… We miss him so much May his soul continue to rest in eternal peace Amen”
Nollywood veteran, Mr Ibu is a Nigerian iconic actor, who rose to fame because of his incredible approach to acting and how he exempts his qualities on every cast.
He is recongnised as one of the Legendary name to have graced the Nollywood legacy, reforming to become one of the most adored status in Nollywood.
He invented a niche for himself, carrying on with the most hilarious status in many casts he featured in, bagging evergreen scenes, trending to date.
This legacy, however didn’t go long after he succumbed to the call of nature. Mr Ibu who survived food poisoning was diagnonised with leg tumour. The situation would escalate to the point that got his leg amputated. The complication of the amputation forced his death.
Since his death, the iconic status is being celebrated by Nigerians including his fans.
