Manchester United forward player Marcus Rashford could be on his way out of Old Trafford ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The England international fell off the pecking order at Manchester United since the arrival of Ruben Amorim who brought in as a replacement for Erik Ten Hag. Marcus Rashford was forced to leave the club on loan during the 2025 January transfer window where he joined Aston Villa on a loan deal.
Transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed on his official social media accounts on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 that Manchester United are willing to let go of Rashford for £40 million. According to him, a lot of top clubs are interested in signing the player but Barcelona are top on the list of those clubs.
Who will replace Marcus Rashford at Manchester United?
The Red Devils are not wasting time as they have started preparation for the 2025/26 season. They are reportedly close to sealing a deal with Wolverhampton Wanderers for the singing of Mathues Cunha.
Reports are also linking them to Brentford’s top midfielder Bryan Mbuemo. However, only time will tell which club Rashford will play for the new season begins in August 2025.
