Controversial comedian Deeone has advised VeryDarkMan to focus solely on Bobrisky and avoid involving Falz and Femi Falana in the ongoing dispute.

Falz and Femi Falana

This advice comes after VeryDarkMan recently released audio recordings in which Bobrisky allegedly claimed that he had been contacted by Falz and Femi Falana before his release from incarceration. The recordings also suggested that Femi Falana had facilitated a settlement of 10 million naira to resolve the situation. In response, Deeone urged VDM to target his grievances towards Bobrisky rather than dragging Falz and Femi Falana into the matter, accusing VDM of attempting to stir animosity against Bobrisky due to personal vendettas.

Furthermore, Deeone questioned VDM’s decision to ask for Davido’s involvement while criticizing Femi Falana for stepping in to help, emphasizing that offering pardons is a common and globally accepted practice. Deeone’s advice to steer clear of Falz and Femi Falana highlights the comedian’s view that the legal and personal matters surrounding Bobrisky should not implicate those unrelated to the core dispute.

In related news, Falz, who briefly worked at his father Femi Falana’s SAN chambers, has made significant strides in the Nigerian entertainment industry. Over the past decade, he has established himself as a rapper, actor, record label owner, and content creator. His career began in 2014, two years after finishing law school, and has since flourished.

In a recent interview with The Nation, Falz reflected on his decade-long career, sharing valuable lessons he has learned along the way. He emphasized the importance of pursuing one’s passions and acting on ideas without overthinking. Falz also discussed his recent break from music, his new EP titled ‘Before The Feast,’ and his thoughts on the evolving Nigerian music scene. He highlighted the need for fresh sounds in Afro-pop and expressed concern about the high costs of music marketing, which he believes could discourage emerging talent.

Falz returned to music in 2024 with ‘Before The Feast,’ an EP that intentionally steers away from his usual social and political commentary. He also hinted at upcoming projects, including his next album, ‘The Feast,’ which he promises will offer a distinct perspective on contemporary African life.
