Bayer Leverkusen’s sporting director has discussed the possibility of Victor Boniface joining Al Nassr in the January 2025 transfer window.

Following weeks and days of speculations of a possible move for Victor Boniface to the Saudi Pro-League giants, Al Nassr, Bayer Leverkusen’s sporting director Simon Rofles, in his latest interview, has finally addressed the speculated lucrative January 2025 transfer move.

Simon Rofles in his interview confirmed interest from clubs for Victor Boniface but added that he had trained with the team today and he is of the opinion the Nigerian forward would stay. He also added that Victor Boniface remains happy at the club in Germany.

He stated, “There have been talks, but we are happy that he will be training with us today. I assume that he will stay. He feels comfortable here, his attitude towards the club is unchanged.”

Reports also confirmed that the deal fell through because Al Nassr had reached an agreement with Aston Villa for their forward Jhon Duran in a deal revealed to cost more than the deal for Victor Boniface.
