Liam Payne’s autopsy has revealed startling details regarding the cocktail of drugs present in his system at the time of his tragic death.

Liam Payne's Autopsy

A partial report from Liam Payne’s autopsy indicated that the former One Direction singer had ingested substances including cocaine, crack, and benzodiazepine, a type of depressant, when he fell to his death from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 16. Sources told ABC News on Monday that Payne also had “pink cocaine” in his system, a dangerous recreational drug that typically combines methamphetamine, ketamine, MDMA, and other substances.

Additionally, Liam Payne’s autopsy discovered an improvised aluminum pipe in his hotel room, believed to have been used to ingest the drugs, further shedding light on the circumstances surrounding his untimely demise. Payne’s body will remain in Argentina until the full autopsy is completed.

The pop star tragically passed away after falling from the third-floor balcony of his room at CasaSur Palermo Hotel at the age of 31. Local authorities had previously suggested that Payne was under the influence of “cristal,” a substance known to cause extreme mood swings and aggressive behavior.

A preliminary report from Liam Payne’s autopsy revealed that the former boy band member suffered multiple traumas from the fall, leading to severe internal and external bleeding. Emergency doctor Alberto Crescenti added that Payne sustained a cranial fracture and “extremely serious injuries that led to his immediate death.” Unfortunately, first responders were unable to revive him at the scene.

Following the discovery of alcohol and controlled substances in Payne’s completely trashed hotel room, multiple witnesses reported that Payne had exhibited “disturbing” behavior in the hotel lobby shortly before his death. Payne, who had previously admitted to battling addiction and mental health issues during his time in One Direction, was traveling in Argentina with his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, just days before checking into the hotel alone.

Cassidy, 25, expressed her grief on Instagram, writing, “Liam, my angel. You are everything. I want you to know I loved you unconditionally and completely. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you Liam.”

Payne’s former One Direction bandmates, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik, also paid tribute to him in a rare joint message. “The memories we shared with him will be treasured forever,” they said. “For now, our thoughts are with his family, his friends, and the fans who loved him alongside us. We will miss him terribly. We love you, Liam.”
