American Hip Hop mogul Lil Durk has reportedly been arrested following a fresh investigation.

He was arrested on 24th November 2024 and is being charged with the murder-for-hire plot for the death of a colleague.

According to sources, he may face life imprisonment or the death penalty for his involvement in a murder-for-hire plot if found Guilty.

Detention would feature interrogation, arraignment, trial and sentencing, as he would face several stages of Justice.

The rapper, widely known for his street-cruel lyrics and commitment to Chicago’s OTF (Only the Family) collective, is being set to be interrogated and held for a possible term in Broward County Jail. The charges against him are pivotal as he may face a complex legal battle.

His arrest transpired as a result of the long-aired investigation featuring the murder of Saviay’a Robinson, aka Lul Pab, cousin to Quando Rondo.

According to reports, Robinson was killed in Los Angeles in 2022. Meanwhile, the investigation team alleges that “a network of affiliations within the OTF collective, linking them directly to this act of violence.” According to thehypemagazine

The lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles narrates that five other Chicago natives of OTF have also been detained alongside Lil Durk. Accusers bid that these statuses were the sole toll for the murder-for-hire plot as they were allegedly provided by Lil Durk’s collective. The evidence collected features flights and rental car reservations, which were paid with a credit card reportedly attached to the OTF label. Further prosecution alleges that OTF offered “lucrative music opportunities” to anyone who could assassinate Quando Rondo.

Narratives and speculations are fuelling that the blow from a longstanding feud may have been sparked by the tragic loss of King Von, who is known publicly for his bond with Lil Durk.

In 2020, King Von was murdered after a fight escalated outside an Atlanta lounge, and several gunshots were fired, leading to his death. This incident was linked to a known associate of Quando Rondo. In reaction to Von’s death, Lil Durk and the OTF community have been seemingly connected to violence as they fight for revenge, leading to the ongoing cycle of heated fued between the two communities.

In a recent buzz, Quando Rondo and his team were attacked in Los Angeles’s Beverly Grove neighbourhood in 2022. This ambush resulted in the death of Robinson. Rondo, however, survived the attack; perhaps authorities have outlined that the saga was connected to an act of revenge for King Von’s death.
