Internationally celebrated Afrobeats singer-songwriter Lojay is back with a brand-new single, “Somebody Like You,” produced by Grammy-nominated Sarz. This laidback track blends smooth vocals, infectious percussion, and easygoing chords as Lojay muses over the ideal love.
“Somebody Like You” explores themes of love, heartbreak, and healing with catchy lyrics and a heartfelt narrative. The dreamy production, crafted by longtime collaborator Sarz, combined with Lojay’s emotive vocals, creates a seamless blend of introspection and groove. This single offers a tantalizing glimpse into Lojay’s forthcoming debut album, currently in the works and set for release later this year.

The release of “Somebody Like You” follows Lojay’s recent GRAMMY nomination for “Sensational,” alongside global superstars Chris Brown and Davido, and his surprise appearance during Chris Brown’s sold-out show in South Africa, performing to a massive crowd.
