Coming down from the high of her debut EP, For Broken Ears setting a new record on Spotify, Grammy award-winning singer Tems has captured the attention of her fans with her cryptic message which has led to more questions than answers.
The singer took to her social media platform to share a post on her social media platform today, Thursday, March 13, 2025, that read, “They breadcrumb you because they live on breadcrumbs, they have nothing more to give. You are the giver, you have bread. And because you’re used to having bread.You expect to receive bread from them too. The breadcrumbs create a hunger that is never satiated. Cuz you’re used to more. All the while they’ve been eating off your bread. Now you’re even more empty than before hoping for something tangible. You’ve become addicted to breadcrumbs. Now they don’t even need to deceive you anymore. You give it freely. You’re taken on the new identity of breadcrumb lover.”
Tems who is known for how little she says on social media captured the attention of fans with this post. She however followed up this other posts that confirmed that the message was for the girls who get it indicating that people take things way too seriously on social media.
