Manchester City Football Club have released a statement concerning Rodri, who recently picked up an injury in the game against Arsenal.
The Premier League Champions confirmed the extent of the injury on its official website on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. According to the club, Rodri willtravel to Spain to seek specialist consultation this week, following initial tests in Manchester.
The statement is as follows,
“The midfielder travelled to Spain to seek specialist consultation this week, following initial tests in Manchester. Assessment remains ongoing to ascertain the full extent of the injury and expected prognosis.”

Arsenal’s midfielder Thomas Partey had a bit of pressure on Rodri during a Manchester City attacking corner, he went down in severe discomfort and was brought close to tears by the injury, despite leaving the pitch on his own feet with a stretcher present at the time.
