Manchester City is looking to accomplish a rare feat by retaining their UEFA Champions League title, as they face Real Madrid in the quarter-finals.
The club released a 21-man list on its official website on Monday, April 8, 2024, in preparation for their trip to the Santiago Bernabeu. Unfortunately, the defensive duo of Kyle Walker and John Stones will not be included due to injuries they sustained while representing England during the last FIFA international break.
This marks the third consecutive season that we have faced Real in the knockout stages of the Champions League. Two years ago, Real Madrid emerged victorious in a dramatic two-legged semi-final encounter, triumphing 6-5 on aggregate.
However, City dominated last season, winning the semi-final match 5-1 on aggregate en route to their first-ever Champions League title.
