Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim has named his 23-man squad for the game against Lyon in the UEFA Europa League quarter final clash.
The final list was released on the official website of Manchester United on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. According to reports from the club, Kobbie Mainoo was initially spotted at Carrington having returned to group training last week.
The England midfielder has spent two months on the sidelines but could play a part at the Groupama Stadium, as welll as Luke Shaw who was named among the players travelling to France.
The defender was an unused substitute during Sunday’s Manchester derby who will be a big boost for Amorim whenever he needs someone to call off from the bench.
Goalkeepers Altay Bayindir and Tom Heaton are back in the team although they will be without Matthijs de Ligt and Toby Collyer. De Ligt has been absent since picking up an injury at Nottingham Forest.
