Manchester United have been hit with an injury to its forward player, Rasmus Hojlund who could be out for the next three weeks.
The Danish player suffered a muscle strain ahead of the Red Devils’ match against Fulham this weekend. This is a big blow as its injury list at the club continues to increase following the recent injury to Luke Shaw and Lisandro Martinez.
Manchester United confirmed the injury news on its official website on Friday, February 23, 2024.
“Rasmus Hojlund will miss Manchester United’s Premier League game against Fulham on Saturday due to a muscle injury. It is expected to keep him out for two to three weeks.”
The 21-year-old is set to miss up to five games, starting with the game against Fulham at Old Trafford followed by the FA Cup tie against Nottingham Forest, the Manchester derby and the games against Everton and Sheffield United.
This injury is a big blow to United as he is getting to find his form, having scored eight goals in his last eight games.
