Arsenal vs PSG promises to be an exciting game as both teams clash in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final at the Emirates stadium.

Arsenal and PSG both something to fight for as they are looking to win the UEFA Champions League for the first time in their history which will be a delight to their supporters around the world. The Gunners came into this game by getting past Real Madrid against all odds while PSG knocked out Aston Villa in the quarter-finals.

However, some pundits around the world believe this is a good opportunity for the Gunners to make a historic run in the Champions League and bring the trophy to North London for the first time due to their current form in the competition history.

Arsenal vs PSG ( Head to Head)

Arsenal have an amazing record against PSG as they have never lost against the Ligue 1 side. Both teams have met thrice in the UEFA Champions League with the Gunners winning once and the remaining two ending in a draw.

Recent Matches

October 1, 2024: Arsenal won 2-0 against PSG in the UEFA Champions League

November 23, 2016: Arsenal drew 2-2 with PSG in the UEFA Champions League

September 13, 2016: PSG drew 1-1 with Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League

April 12, 1994: Arsenal won 1-0 against PSG in the UEFA European Cup Winners Cup

March 29, 1994: PSG drew 1-1 with Arsenal in the UEFA European Cup Winners Cup

Recent form:

The French club head into this game having failed to win two Ligue 1 games in the past week. Following a midweek 1-1 draw at Nantes, they suffered a 3-1 home defeat to Nice on Friday, April 25, 2025. That was their first league loss in 2024-25, but having won the league three weeks ago.

On other hand, Arsenal have not lost a game in their last two fixtures which was against Ipswich Town and Crystal Palace both games ended in a win and draw respectively.

Team news: ( Arsenal vs PSG)

Arsenal will be without the suspended Thomas Partey for this clash, but Mikel Merino and Ben White should both be available after sitting out the 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace.

Riccardo Calafiori could return to the squad but Jorginho has joined a lengthy list of absentees that includes Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Magalhães, and Kai Havertz. PSG, conversely, have no absentees and are expected to be at full strength.

Prediction:

This game looks more like a cagey affair between both sides, we also expect goals from the game. It is too close to call but we say 2-2 will be the full-time score.
