Nigerian gospel singer Mercy Chinwo has finally spoken out about her highly publicized crisis with her former manager and music producer, Ezekiel ThankGod, popularly known as Eezee Concept.

In a video shared on her social media about the crisis, Mercy Chinwo narrated her work history with Eezee Concept, alleging that he attempted to forge a new contract after their initial five-year contract expired in 2019. According to Mercy, Eezee proposed extending her contract to twelve years, which she declined, leading to a deterioration in their working relationship.

Mercy claimed that Eezee began to threaten her, creating a toxic environment that forced her to relocate from Lagos to Port Harcourt. She also alleged that Eezee tried to control her collaborations, including forbidding her from working with Pastor Jerry Eze of Streams of Joy church and criticizing her song with Nathaniel Bassey.

Furthermore, Mercy accused Eezee of peddling rumors about her son’s paternity through paid bloggers. She expressed her sadness and frustration, stating that she has been unfairly accused and labeled.

Mercy Chinwo concluded by affirming her trust in God to reveal the truth and bring justice to her situation.
