Nigerian gospel singer Mercy Chinwo will be holding a free Easter concert in Lagos.
Nigerian gospel vocalist, Mercy Chinwo, is set to host her inaugural live performance in Lagos, commemorating this year’s Easter festivities. The event, titled ‘Overwhelming Joy’, is officially free to all. The event will take place on March 29, 2024, at Eko Hotels and Suites. The concert promises to be an uplifting experience.
The concert is named after her latest 12-track album, Overwhelming Victory, which was recorded during her pregnancy. According to Album Talks HQ, her latest album, Elevated EP has become the first project by a Nigerian female gospel singer to garner 100 million streams.

Overwhelming Victory is a 12-track album featuring other gospel artists such as Pastor Jerry Eze and Chioma Jesus. Mercy Chinwo dropped her latest album in March 2024. This marks her third studio album. The renowned gospel artist announced her first pregnancy and the birth of her child in 2023 with her new single ‘You Do This’.
