However, the music she’s currently preparing to release has reignited her passion and reminded her of her purpose in the industry. Reflecting on her experience. “Making the music that we did was so refreshing. I thought that feeling was gone at first like I’d not step into a studio again. But this music we’re dropping reminded me of my WHY. Like why I’m doing this,” Miss Pru shared.

Her statement reflects a deep reconnection with her artistry, emphasizing the importance of creative fulfilment in her work. The “Price To Pay” hitmaker announced that new music is on the horizon, but left some ambiguity about her musical direction. While she mentioned a shift towards amapiano, it remains uncertain whether this marks a full transition from hip-hop or if she plans to explore both genres.

“Im going back to what I started with you know, House Music has always been something that I love doing,” she said. “You know when you’re mixing two house beats together that journey that you take people through, I’ve always loved. So I just felt like it’s time to go back into house music and just explore a different element of it.”

“I’ve never boxed myself, I’ve never said that I’m a hip-hop DJ, I’ve never said I’m a house, DJ, I’ve always said I’m a DJ which is why in my set I can play two different genres at once.“ Miss Pru said during an interview on Podcast And Chill.
