The future of Mohamed Salah at Liverpool has been a major concern for the club as the midfielder gets closer to the end of his current contract which ends in June 2025.
There have been several reports that Mohamed Salah and Liverpool have failed to reach an agreement despite the player’s interest in remaining at Anfield. However, there was good news for the club’s supporters after transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that both parties are close to reaching an agreement for a new deal.
The Italian confirmed that the new contract for Salah is already at the final stages which means the Egyptian King will be a Liverpool player after this current season.
“Mo Salah, closing in on new deal at Liverpool as agreement is now at the final stages. Club confident to get it done soon, same for Virgil van Dijk who recently confirmed positive progress made. Salah and #LFC, expected to continue together.”
How many goals has Mohamed Salah scored for Liverpool this season?
