Renowned gospel artist Moses Bliss shared the stories of his humble beginnings before his steady rise to fame.

Gospel artist Moses Bliss held a concert in Akwa Ibom. During the uplifting experience, he shared with the crowd his humble beginnings. Videos from gospel singer Moses Bliss’ homecoming concert, themed ‘The Bliss Experience‘ have surfaced online.

In one of the videos, the singer shared personal anecdotes about his life struggles, including selling pure water to make ends meet. He also recalled a time when his mother couldn’t afford to pay for two bus seats during a trip to Akwa Ibom.

Moses Bliss, who hails from Akwa Ibom, hosted the concert on Monday, April 1, effectively shutting down his home state. The event, attended by locals and dignitaries like the state governor, Pastor Umo Eno, featured performances from Moses Bliss, his wife, Marie Wiseborn, and Frank Edwards, among others. Moses Bliss used the platform to encourage the people of Akwa Ibom not to be discouraged by their challenges, reminding them that they could be the next success story of the state. Minister Frank Edwards shared that he once judged an audition where Moses Bliss was a contestant. Reflecting on their journey, he revealed that ten years later, they are now collaborating and singing songs together.

He said “We used to enter bus. I used to sell pure water. I am telling all these stories so that you will know that what you are going through is not unique to you. You are not the only one going through something. But if you hold unto Jesus from here the lord will catapult you to the nations of the earth”.
