Popular Nigerian singer and skitmaker, Nasboi, has taken to social media to express frustration over an unsettling encounter with a police officer who allegedly demanded a money transfer to his SportyBet account.

Sharing the incident via his X page, Nasboi recounted how he was stopped by officers on the road, who then asked him for money. According to Nasboi, the Umbrella hitmaker explained that he didn’t have any cash on him, one of the police officer shockingly requested a transfer to his SportyBet account instead.

Voicing his disbelief, Nasboi posted: “The hell is wrong with Nigeria police? What? I no get cash to give you, you say make I transfer to your sporty.”

The incident has since sparked reactions online, with many Nigerians criticizing the state of law enforcement and recounting their own troubling encounters with rogue officers.

This latest episode adds to growing concerns over police misconduct and extortion in the country, as citizens continue to demand reform and accountability within the force.
