Gospel singer and pastor Nathaniel Bassey recently ministered at the Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C., as part of Donald Trump’s inauguration events.
Bassey, known for his spirit-filled music, was invited alongside other Nigerian ministers, including Pastor WF Kumuyi.
During the event, Nathaniel Bassey took centre stage with his trumpet, leading worshippers in songs of intercessory prayers for the United States at Donald Trump’s inauguration as his administration took charge. He also performed his song Take The Stage, symbolically handing the White House and the US over to Jesus Christ.
Bassey had earlier shared a clip confirming his arrival in Washington, D.C., and had hinted at his location by posting a video of moving cars on a major US road. His ministry in the US has sparked a spiritual awakening, with many taking to social media to share videos and testimonies.
According to Bassey, he received a call from Reverend Turner, who shared a divine instruction to send for him to release God’s glory upon the United States. This invitation was a significant milestone in Bassey’s ministry, solidifying his reputation as a leading gospel artist and pastor.
