A non-governmental organization founded by Larry Omodia, creator of African Television, has filed a petition against Mohbad’s wife, Olawunmi, his brother, Adura Aloba, and a close associate, Damola.
The petition stems from a TikTok conversation that allegedly sheds light on the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death.
Mohbad, a Nigerian singer, passed away on September 24, 2023, leaving a void in the country’s entertainment scene. Despite numerous court hearings and a police investigation, the facts surrounding his death remain unclear.
The NGO’s petition against Mohbad’s wife and others was prompted by a recent TikTok conversation between Adura Aloba and Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi. The organization is urging the Nigerian police force to investigate the petition and conduct forensic checks on the suspects’ phones.
This development has sparked renewed interest in the case, with many hoping that the new evidence will finally uncover the truth behind Mohbad’s tragic death.
