Chelsea’s forward player, Nicolas Jackson is one of the most criticised players at the club due to his inability to score goals whenever he has the opportunity to put the ball behind the net.

The Senegalese international who joined Chelsea from Villarreal during the 2023 summer transfer window has sent a message to his critics. According to him, he is not worried about his current form because one of the best strikers in the world, Karim Benzema missed chances when he was young.

“When I was young, I saw Benzema playing for Real Madrid. I was supporting Madrid when I was young & Benzema was missing a lot of chances. But you know, later he won the Ballon d’Or. I am not saying I am at that level. I can’t be at that level now. But I’ve seen it before so I’m not worried.”

Jackson has not hit the ground running since he joined Chelsea which is the reason why the hierarchy at the club are looking at the possibility of getting a top-profile striker during the summer.
