Nigeria vs South Africa: Players arrive in camp ahead of must-win Paris 2024 qualifiers

A total of 14 players have now arrived in the Super Falcons of Nigeria camp ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics qualifiers against South Africa.

The build-up to the must-win qualifiers for the Olympics 2024 which would take place in Paris, Nigeria against South Africa intensifies with players now reporting to camp ahead of the fixture.

On Monday, April 1, 2024, the first set of players which consisted of Atletico Madrid winger Rasheedat Ajibade, goalkeeper Tochukwu Oluehi and midfielder Jumoke Alani arrived at the Super Falcons’ training camp. They were joined by eleven other players in the early hours of Tuesday, April 2, 2024. Eight more players are expected to arrive at the camp soon. Among the new arrivals are experienced goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, dependable centre-back Osinachi Ohale, versatile midfielder Toni Payne, and Juventus star Jennifer Echegini.

The Super Falcons are preparing for their first match and will have their first training session later today, Tuesday, April 2, 2024. The first leg of the match will be held at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Friday, April 5, 2024.

Players in camp: Jiwuaku Linda, Okeke Chidinma, Oladipo Shukurat, Nnadozie Chiamaka, Ohale Osinachi, Toni Payne, Kanu Uchenna, Monday Gift, Abiodun Deborah, Echegini Jennifer and Ucheibe Christy, Rasheedat Ajibade, Tochukwu Oluehi and Jumoke Alani.
