Nollywood Star Omoborty Ties the Knot in the U.S.

Biodun Okeowo, Nollywood actress fondly known as Omoborty, has legally married her partner in the United States. The actress shared the joyous news on her Instagram page, calling it one of the “most beautiful days” of her life.

Accompanying her post were stunning pictures from the ceremony, where the radiant bride expressed her gratitude and excitement about this new chapter. Omoborty, who referred to the occasion as her “first and last wedding,” revealed that all necessary wedding protocols had been completed.

“In the euphoria of my birthday, I am thrilled to share the memories from one of the most beautiful days of my life—the day I legally said ‘yes’ to the man of my heart before God and man,” she wrote.

The actress proudly embraced her new identity, adding, “Feel free to call me Mrs. Biodun Sofuyi-Olabiyi. My first wedding, and by God’s grace, the last. Amen.”

Fans and fellow celebrities quickly flooded her comment section with congratulatory messages and well wishes for the newlyweds.

Omoborty first announced her engagement in March, much to the delight of her supporters. The actress, who has two children from a previous relationship, is now embarking on this fresh chapter with her husband.

A seasoned actress, Omoborty began her acting career in the early 2000s and rose to fame with her standout performance in the film Tolani Osinrin. Over the years, she has become a household name in the Yoruba film industry, starring in hits such as Alapo Aje, Star Boy, Ebute, Okanjua, and Boseyemi.
