Nigerian rapper and singer, Odumodublvck, has publicly reached out to Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, requesting his support for his newly released album.

Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, April 3, 2025, the artist urged Obi to endorse his project in a video message.

Odumodublvck tweeted: “@PeterObi HELLO MR PETER OBI I SUPPORT YOU THAT YEAR OYA SUPPORT ME NOW OYA DO VIDEO DEY TALK THE MACHINE IS COMING. ABEG. ME AND YOU NEVER EVER GET PROBLEM BEFORE. MAKE E NO START NOW.”

The post, which references his album The Machine Is Coming, has sparked discussions among fans and political observers alike. While the rapper was a vocal supporter of Peter Obi during the 2023 elections, his recent request suggests he now seeks reciprocity from the politician.

As of now, Peter Obi has not publicly responded, but the tweet has generated significant engagement, highlighting the ongoing crossover between Nigeria’s entertainment and political spheres.

.@PeterObi HELLO MR PETER OBI

I SUPPORT YOU THAT YEAR

OYA SUPPORT ME NOW

OYA DO VIDEO DEY TALK THE MACHINE IS COMING.

ABEG.

ME AND YOU NEVER EVER GET PROBLEM BEFORE.

MAKE E NO START NOW.
