Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck is celebrating a major chart victory while showing support for fellow artist Erigga, sending a powerful message about hip-hop unity.

Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck is celebrating a major milestone as his latest album, The Machine Is Coming, has claimed the No. 1 spot on Apple Music Nigeria’s album chart. Right behind him at No. 2 is fellow rapper Erigga with his project, G.O.A.T (Greatest of All Time).

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Odumodublvck showed admiration for the contribution of Erigga to hip-hop, emphasizing the importance of legacy over competition. He tweeted: “HIP HOP LEGACY I NO MIND MAKE YOU OVER ME FOR THE SAKE OF THIS LEGACY. YOUR ALBUM NA MY ALBUM. STREAM G.O.A.T NOWWWWW.”

The tweet was accompanied by a screenshot of the chart rankings, reinforcing the strong impact both albums are having on the Nigerian hip-hop scene.

Meanwhile, Odumodublvck’s The Machine Is Coming has been making waves since its release, with its gritty production, hard-hitting lyrics, and unique blend of Afrobeats and hip-hop. Known for his street-influenced storytelling and energetic delivery, the album showcases his signature style, solidifying his reputation as one of Nigeria’s most exciting rappers.

However, Erigga’s G.O.A.T album, on the other hand, is a deep dive into the realities of life, success, and struggle. The veteran rapper, known for his witty wordplay and street-smart wisdom, delivers a project rich in storytelling, blending conscious rap with catchy flows. The album resonates strongly with fans of authentic Nigerian hip-hop, featuring tracks that reflect on his journey, hardships, and triumphs.

As both The Machine Is Coming and G.O.A.T continue to dominate streaming platforms, fans can expect Nigerian rap to keep pushing boundaries and gaining global recognition.
