Odumodublvck had a heartwarming encounter with Peter Obi, at an airport following days of a viral social media campaign urging the politician to endorse his new album.

Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, recently met former presidential candidate Peter Obi at an airport, marking a key moment in the rapper’s ongoing push to secure support for his newly released album The Machine Is Coming.

The meeting, which took place on Saturday, April 12, 2025, came after days of social media posts in which Odumodublvck publicly urged Peter Obi to endorse his new project. The rapper, who backed Obi during the 2023 elections, had called on the politician to return the gesture by recording a short video saying, “The machine is coming.”

Although some observers speculated tension due to the persistent nature of Odumodublvck’s posts, there was never any animosity between the two. The airport encounter, which was shared widely on social media, showed the rapper and Obi engaging in a warm and friendly conversation, putting to rest any assumptions of a strained relationship.

Odumodublvck’s appeal to Obi began trending after his April 2 post, in which he reminded followers of his support for Obi’s campaign and revealed he had rejected lucrative offers to endorse opposing candidates. By April 3, he had intensified the campaign with visual throwbacks to his political stance during the 2023 elections.

The viral airport moment drew enthusiastic reactions from fans online, many of whom praised the rapper’s bold approach and persistence. While it’s unclear whether Obi will publicly support the album, the meeting was widely seen as a highlight in Odumodublvck’s promotional journey and an example of how artists are reshaping public discourse through creative outreach.
