Nigerian rapper and singer Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has joined football fans and the global sports community in mourning the tragic passing of Portuguese footballer Diogo Jota.

According to reports, the 28-year-old striker lost his life in a fatal car accident alongside his younger brother, Andre Silva, just days after his wedding. The accident occurred while the siblings were traveling together, with Andre, a player for Penafiel in Portugal’s second division, also confirmed dead at the scene.

Reacting to the heartbreaking news, Odumodublvck, a well-known football enthusiast, took to social media to express his grief and sympathy. He particularly extended his thoughts to the footballer’s mother, expressing disbelief over the unimaginable pain of losing two sons at once.

“This is too tragic. How does a mother survive this kind of heartbreak?” he lamented.

Fans of the rapper, many of whom had recently seen him singing gospel songs in church, flooded his comment section to mourn alongside him. Some reflected on the bittersweet irony of Jota’s recent achievements, winning the English Premier League, lifting the UEFA Nations League, celebrating his birthday, and getting married, only to have his life cut short so suddenly.

They offered prayers for the peaceful repose of the brothers’ souls and for strength and comfort for their grieving family.
