Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has opened up about a generous gesture from Afrobeats superstar Davido, revealing that the singer recently sent ₦10 million to his girlfriend.
The Declan Rice crooner made the revelation during a recent interview with Beats 99.9 FM, where he spoke about his relationship with Davido and reflected on his recent wins at the 17th Headies Awards, where he bagged the Next Rated and Best Rap Single categories.
“Shoutout to Davido, that’s my brother. Two days ago, he sent ₦10 million to my girlfriend,” Odumodublvck disclosed how Davido blessed his girlfriend.
He went on to explain the reason behind the generous gift, noting that his partner played a crucial role in his success story. “He sent the money for being a real gee. I think she’s a key part of my success, and I have to give her credit,” the rapper added.
Odumodublvck and Davido’s bond extends beyond personal goodwill, having collaborated earlier this year on the track Funds alongside singer Chike. Their professional relationship has been marked by mutual respect, with Davido previously showing public support for Odumodublvck’s Headies nominations and predicting his big win.
