Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has sparked conversation online with his latest comment about Davido’s highly anticipated album, 5ive.

On Thursday, March 27, 2025, the rapper took to X to share his thoughts on the project, tagging Davido directly. While expressing confidence in Davido’s artistic vision for the album, Odumodublvck provocatively suggested that 5ive would have been a better fit for Kcee and E-Money’s Five Star Music label rather than being released under Davido’s 30BG label. He concluded his statement with a dramatic, “I rest my case.”

His comment quickly ignited reactions across social media, adding to the growing buzz surrounding the album. 5ive, which is set for release on April 18, 2025, features a star-studded lineup, including Omah Lay, Chris Brown, Chike and Odumodublvck himself, with production credits from industry heavyweights like DJ Maphorisa.

As excitement builds for what could be a game-changing Afrobeats release, Odumodublvck’s remark has only intensified the conversation around Davido’s upcoming project.

.@davido I TRUST YOUR VISION AND ALL

BUT THIS ALBUM IS NOT MEANT TO BE RELEASED UNDER 30BG 😔

THIS ALBUM IS MEANT TO DROP UNDER KCEE & E MONEY.

I REST MY CASE.

No worry the album will still trend, I recognize this strategy. You want it to be controversial so as to trigger curiosity which will eventuate to more streams and all. Weldone

You mean a whole Davido’s album should be released under Kcee and E money not any records? pic.twitter.com/67W4GOcSa0

It’s because you are on the album that’s why you are giving it this much hype if not you would be quiet in that your corner with your big head.
