Apple Music released its Africa Rising Stars for 2024 playlist, which includes Odumodublvck, Tyla, Lojay, Qing Madi, and much more.
Apple Music’s artist development initiative, Africa Rising, was created in 2020 and has presented the most promising and talented emerging artists from across the African continent. The program has been instrumental in introducing global audiences to notable artists such as Omah Lay, Rema, Tems, Ayra Starr, and Amaarae, among others.
Continuing its role as a pioneer in recognizing and promoting emerging musical trends, Apple Music’s Africa Rising campaign starts the new year by unveiling the Class of ’24. These artists are on the verge of remarkable careers, aligning with the program’s dedication to discovering and championing Africa’s rising stars.

The Class of Africa Rising Stars 2024 includes South African pop princess Tyla; Nigerian afrobeat artist Bloody Civilian; Nigerian rapper OdumoduBlvck; South African DJ Tyler ICU; Cameroonian songstress Libianca. The Class of 2024 Africa Rising recipients will be featured in an episode of Africa Now Radio with Nandi Madida, broadcasting on 12th January 2024.
