Nigerian superstar Ayodeji Balogun Ibrahim, popularly known as Wizkid, is expected to release his highly anticipated new album Morayo next month.
Following his 2022 album More Love, Less Ego, which didn’t receive the widespread acclaim many anticipated, Wizkid is now preparing to drop his sixth studio album. Fans have already seen him shine in 2024 with his feature on Bob Marley’s One Love album and DJ Tunez’s popular Apala Disco (Remix), and now Big Wiz is poised to deliver another exciting project.
Wizkid has repeatedly teased Morayo, a deeply personal album dedicated to his late mother, whom he lost in 2023. On Friday, October 18th, he gave fans a taste of what’s to come with the release of “Piece of My Heart,” a smooth R&B track featuring American soul singer Brent Faiyaz.
As anticipation continues to grow, Billboard has confirmed that Morayo is set to be released on November 22, 2024.
