Known for blending Yoruba and English lyrics, he has dominated the Nigerian music scene with his street-inspired music. He is the founder of YBNL Nation, one of Nigeria’s top record labels, which has produced multiple award-winning artists.

Olamide was born on March 15, 1989, in Bariga, Lagos. He had his primary and secondary education in Lagos before enrolling at Tai Solarin University of Education to study Mass Communication. However, he dropped out due to financial challenges and fully focused on his music career.
