Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye (Rudeboy), has shared his thoughts on the recent arrest of controversial personality, Speed Darlington.

In an Instagram post, Rudeboy cautioned that many people assume they can express themselves freely without consequences, only to cry foul when they face repercussions.

“Everything na cruise and jokes until hand touch you,” Rudeboy wrote. “Then they will say you are an oppressor because you think you have money and all. There’s a huge difference between freedom of data and freedom of speech.”

Paul Okoye’s comments come after Speed Darlington’s disappearance sparked concerns among fans and friends, only to be revealed that he had been arrested.

Also, this has sparked a wider conversation about freedom of speech, online responsibility, and the blurred lines between expressing oneself and facing consequences.

Meanwhile, Speed Darlington, known for his outspoken views, had recently questioned Burna Boy’s Grammy Award win, sparking controversy.

Lastly, Rudeboy’s remarks reflects the complexities surrounding online expression and the importance of understanding the boundaries of free speech.
