Pep Guardiola reacts to Manchester City’s exit from the UCL

The manager of Manchester City Football Club, Pep Guardiola has reacted to his team’s early exit from the UEFA Champions league at the hands of Real Madrid.

The Premier League Champions were knocked out 7-4 on aggregate after Kylian Mbsppe showed why he is one of the best players in the world. The French international scored four goals over both legs a spectacular performance in the second leg where he scored a hat trick to take Real Madrid to the quarter-final of the competition.

Pep Guardiola showered praise on the Real Madrid team, showing appreciation for the Galacticos and how they were able to outclass the Premier League Champions in the round of 16 play-offs. According to the Spaniard, the best team ( Real Madrid) won over both legs.

What did Pep Guardiola say about Manchester City Champions league

He said,

“Tonight the best team won, that’s simple. Real Madrid were the best team and they won, it’s deserved.”

Manchester City will have to turn their attention to the Premier league as they will be looking to finish in the top four at the end of the season while Real Madrid awaits the outcome of the draw where they could have Bayer Leverkusen or Atletico Madrid.
