Nigerian singer Peter Okoye, famously known as one-half of the defunct music duo P-Square, has declared that he is now “his own Square,” signaling the official end of the group.
Responding to an X user who said there would never be another P-Square since everything has its time, Peter agreed and confirmed that the iconic band no longer exists. Peter Okoye emphasized that while P-Square is finished, his brothers Jude Okoye and Paul Okoye have become the new P-Square.
“Exactly! Judeboy & Rudeboy, that’s the new JPsquare. Make una manage them. It’s their time. I dey on my own, dey run my own race. I am my own Square,” Peter stated.
The singer’s message shows his focus on his solo career and urges fans to support his brothers in their music journey, marking a new chapter for the Okoye family in the entertainment industry.
