Podcaster Calls Out DJ Speedsta Over AI-Generated Artwork For “Violate.” Outspoken podcaster Mswenko Franko didn’t hold back his thoughts on DJ Speedsta’s latest single artwork, slamming the visual direction for “Violate” as a creative misfire that left fans scratching their heads.

In a recent episode, Franko expressed major disappointment with the cover art for Violate, which features an all-star lineup of Zoocci Coke Dope, Usimamane, and Tony Dayimane. Instead of hyping up the release, the artwork sparked backlash across social media, and Franko gave voice to the frustration.

“I swear, dawg, this art cover is bad!” Franko said. “People are not pleased with this cover. They are like, ‘Dawg, this is not it.’ Leave AI out of the art, dawg. Pay graphics designers to do something proper.”

The critique echoes sentiments from many fans who believe that the visual quality of music artwork still matters, especially when backed by a strong tracklist like this one. With names like Zoocci, Usimamane, and Tony Dayimane involved, expectations were high not just for the sound but for the entire rollout.

While the use of AI in art and design continues to be a polarising topic in creative circles, Franko made it clear where he stands: pay real designers.

“You can’t be using [AI],” he added, highlighting the importance of investing in professional visual artists to match the weight of a major release.

Despite the critique, Violate itself is already generating buzz for its hard-hitting verses and genre-blending production. But for Mswenko Franko, visuals matter just as much as the sound, and this one missed the mark.
